Andy's Trout Farm - Fun Fishin' & Memory Makin'

Answers to Questions You Might Have

Q. Can we throw our fish back?
A.  NO! No, there is no "throwing back or releasing".  Our fish die if you throw them back after they have been caught. Trout are a very fragile fish.  You must pay  for all fish caught.  If you do not want to take them with you, We will freeze them and once a year we donate to our church youth to have a fish fry to raise money.

Q.  Can we use our own equipment?
Yes you can bring your own equipment, it must be appropriate for trout.  We do have cane poles for rent and we have worms we sell for bait.

Q. Is there an admission fee?
No, you pay for the fish you catch.

Q.  Do we have to stay there to fish?
No, anyone can drop by during the time we are open to fish and enjoy our place.  We do have cabins and would love to have you join us for overnight.

Q. Do you have fish other than trout?
No, we stock rainbow trout at our farm.

Q. Can we have our fished cooked?
If you are a group and make advanced reservations we can cook your trout, but as a general rule we do not cook for people who just drop by the farm.

Q.   Do I have to catch my fish myself?
No you  do not.  It is a lot of fun, but you can have us net them straight from the pond for you.  If you call and place an order that is even better.  Some days depending on crowds and heat it is very hard to get them and if we know in advance we can be prepared.
